Dispute Resolution

We have for nearly three decades represented clients at all court levels in Hong Kong. We successfully represented one of the last appeals to the Privy Council in 1997. Recently we represented a successful Appellant in the Court of Final Appeal in Hong Kong (Mohammad Mahabour Rahman v H.K.S.A.R. (FCA 9 of 2009 on appeal from CACC 177 of 2008)). We undertake all types of litigation including civil/commercial, and criminal cases as well as judicial reviews.

Hong Kong is a well-established arbitration centre of international standing. We have experience representing our clients in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation.

Mediation is  relatively new to Hong Kong but in our opinion a welcome addition to the field of dispute resolution. Our principal has acted as mediator in the resolution of local disputes.

Non-Contentious Practice

We have extensive practices in conveyancing, matrimonial and immigration cases. In addition we take on cases in the niche market of telecommunications and act as Civil Celebrant of Marriages in both English and Cantonese.

Our non-contentious experience also extends to probate, corporate affairs and commercial contracts. We establish companies for our clients businesses and can act as corporate secretary and provide a company’s registered address.

We also provide notarial and intellectual property services and advise on employment law.
